At 15:18 on Wednesday, 1 July, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Market Drayton.
2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Market Drayton.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Hosereel jet
- Open water supply
Fire involving large quantity of rubbish which has spread to three large trees and hedgerow nearby, crews are using two hose reel jets and one high pressure lance, with two breathing apparatus for comfort and water supplemented from a light portable pump in a nearby water source
