At 14:50 on Thursday, 23 July, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smoke In Area in Dawley.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford and Wellington.

Reports of smoke in the area which proved to be a smoke cloak activation.
