At 11:35 on Saturday, 25 July, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Tweedale and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews have attended an incident involving a horse with its foot stuck in stock fencing. The animal had been released by its owner prior to arrival of Fire and Rescue Service.
