At 13:58 on Thursday, 6 August, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Wem.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wem and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Smell of burning and alarm operating in property. This was a false alarm caused by smoke from external bonfire
