At 19:58 on Monday, 10 August, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as HGV Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry.

Reports of smoke issuing from lorry. Incident was false alarm due to blown turbo on 14 tonne heavy goods vehicle. Fire crews make a thorough check using thermal imaging camera and no action was taken by the fire service
