Bin Fire

At 20:44 on Thursday, 10 September, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Bin Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved 2 wheelie bins, rubbish and a length of security fencing on fire.
