At 21:22 on Monday, 14 September, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Pennerley, Shrewsbury.

8 fire appliances including the Pinzgauer were mobilised from Bishops Castle, Church Stretton, Clun, Craven Arms, Minsterley, Newport and Shrewsbury. Operations and Safety officers were in attendance.

Large fire in open affecting hillside.
