At 04:20 on Wednesday, 23 September, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry. Operations and Hazmat officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Approximately 2 tonne of biomass product involved in fire.
