At 03:26 on Thursday, 8 October, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

This incident was a false alarm caused by external smoke entering vent system and activating the detector head. Thorough search carried out using Thermal Imaging Camera and short extension ladder.
