At 13:56 on Monday, 23 November, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Newscastle, Clun.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Clun and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a vet.

One elderly horse moved from field to nearby barn using strops, glide sheets and tractor.
