At 17:42 on Wednesday, 9 December, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Ellesmere.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Ellesmere.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Short extension ladder
• Stirrup pump
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving open fire grate in domestic property. Crews used thermal imaging camera, chimney rods, short extension ladder and stirrup pump to extinguish.
