At 19:18 on Thursday, 14 January, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smell Of Smoke in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was found to be a false alarm. Smell caused by a faulty light fitting.
