At 19:56 on Friday, 29 January, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Market Drayton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Market Drayton. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a false alarm caused by member of the public mistaking smoke from a controlled burn for smoke issuing from a property. Advice given to responsible person.
