Fire In Open

At 13:39 on Tuesday, 30 March, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Minsterley.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Hosereel jet

Crews have extinguished approximately 30m x 3m of undergrowth and trees on fire. Two hose reel jets, 1 high pressure lance and beaters used.
