At 08:29 on Wednesday, 31 March, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire in Newport.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport and Wellington.

This Incident involved a piling machine on its side and smoking. The incident was caused by oil on hot exhaust giving off fumes no Fire Service action
