At 11:21 on Monday, 5 April, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire involving one wheelie bin 100% involved in fire, caused by discarded hot ashes. Crews extinguished using one hose reel jet.
