At 21:00 on Monday, 5 April, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

Fire involving chimney in domestic property. Hearth kit and small gear in use to extinguish fire. Thermal imaging camera used to check for any further hot spots.
