At 11:09 on Wednesday, 12 May, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Rescue From Machinery in Ellesmere.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Ellesmere and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Air Ambulance and the Land Ambulance Service .

1 male casualty released. 1 male now in care of ambulance.
