At 12:05 on Sunday, 6 June, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry.

Reports of an automatic fire alarm caused by a small fire in the kitchen which was out on the arrival of crews.
