At 17:27 on Wednesday, 9 June, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Minsterley.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bishops Castle and Minsterley.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Small gear
• Stirrup pump

This was a fire that was in the chimney flue. Crews extinguished fire using chimney rods.
