At 21:46 on Sunday, 27 June, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Bridgnorth.

1 fire appliance including the Water Rescue Unit was mobilised from Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Reports of sheep fallen down bank and stuck in river. Fire crews used water first responders to rescue sheep which was reunited with the flock
