Fire In Open

At 16:13 on Thursday, 1 July, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Quantity of waste material and rubbish alight in the open. Crews have used Positive Pressure Ventilation (PPV) to clear some of the smoke from the area. Two breathing apparatus also in use due to large quantity of smoke.
