At 00:40 on Saturday, 3 July, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Prees.

Reports of the fire alarm sounding at the premises which was found to be a false alarm caused by a fault.
