At 18:10 on Saturday, 17 July, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

1 pile of plastic and refuse measuring 20m x 40m and 20m high alight. Crews extinguished using hose reel jets and 1 main jet.
