At 22:16 on Monday, 19 July, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Fire involving undergrowth measuring approximately 2m x 2m. Crews used one hose reel jet and drag rakes to extinguish.
