At 00:42 on Sunday, 1 August, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Newcastle on Clun.

5 fire appliances including the Light Pumping Unit were mobilised from Bishops Castle, Clun and Craven Arms. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

One barn 100% involved in fire.
