At 07:00 on Monday, 16 August, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in A488 Hanwood.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch and Shrewsbury.

RTC involving 1 heavy goods vehicle and 1 car, 2 persons trapped in car. Holmatro cutting equipment in use by fire crews to release casualties from vehicle. Casualties in the care of the ambulance service.
