At 18:57 on Tuesday, 5 October, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Electricity Cable in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised.

Report of an electricity cable down. Crew attended checked area for fires using thermal imaging camera. A small fire was located and extinguished using 1 hose reel jet. Electricity board also in attendance and made the cables safe prior to the fire being dealt with.
