House Fire

At 10:41 on Saturday, 23 October, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Wem.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was found be 1 grillpan left on, with an excess quantity of fat witihin it, causing smoke logging of the premises. No fire.
