At 11:23 on Friday, 12 November, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smell Of Burning in Turnpike Court, St. Georges, Telford .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington.

Call to smell of burning and smoke alarm actuated in flat. Incident was found to be a small fire involving a waste paper basket which was out on the arrival of the fire service. Crews used positive pressure ventilation system to disperse the smoke.
