At 00:25 on Monday, 6 December, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Wem.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

Small fire involving towel left on cooker, crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one covering jet
