At 18:45 on Thursday, 23 December, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Baschurch, Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Cutters/Spreaders

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving 2 vehicles, one male trapped. Crews released the male using Holmatro cutting gear and left in care of ambulance service.
