At 09:45 on Monday, 5 September, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Rtc Persons Trapped in Shifnal .

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Tweedale and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

RTC involving 1 transit van and 1 small van. One person released prior to arrival of Fire Service. One male transported to hospital via land ambulance.

At 17:33 on Thursday, 1 September, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Hodnet, Market Drayton and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Air Ambulance, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Road traffic collision involving 2 saloon cars. A total of two people, one from each vehicle, released by Fire Service Personnel using holmatro cutting equipment. One was transferred to hospital via land ambulance and the other by air ambulance. The road will remain closed while Police carry out collision investigation.

At 01:55 on Saturday, 27 August, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch, Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Fire Service personnel assisted Ambulance Service personnel to rescue 1 adult male who has fallen from the bridge onto the riverbank approximately 20 feet below. Casualty left in care of Ambulance Service personnel. 1 stretcher in use, boat was not required.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Baschurch, Ellesmere and Oswestry. Operations and Hazmat officers were in attendance.

Leak of ammonia from refrigeration unit - fire service crews wearing full protective clothing and breathing apparatus used positive pressure ventilation fans to disperse the leak. Seven members of staff were treated by ambulance personnel for inhalation of fumes
