1 fire appliance was mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Incident was a controlled burn which has spread to nearby foliage.

Kitchen Fire

At 09:29 on Tuesday, 17 October, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Kitchen Fire in Longden on Tern.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

Small fire in kitchen, found to be out upon the arrival of Fire Service. Two adult casualties suffering slight smoke inhalation were given oxygen therapy by Fire Service personnel. Property is heavily smoke logged and being ventilated using a PPV fan.
