At 09:22 on Monday, 22 May, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Oswestry .

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere, Oswestry and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• 13.5m ladder
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.

Fire involving one car which has spread to two domestic properties. The fire has affected the gas and electricity supply so utility companies are also in attendance assisting the Fire Service. One 13.5 meter ladder and hose reel jets currently in use.
