At 12:48 on Wednesday, 11 February, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire Commercial in Bishops Castle.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bishops Castle and Clun. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Dry powder extinguisher
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Fire involving overheated 3 phase transformer including sawdust and debris. Two breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet, fire extinguishers and positive pressure ventilation fan in use.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Fire extinguished by Fire Service personnel using 1 hose reel jet and wearing breathing apparatus. Positive Pressure Fan also in use ventilate and clear smoke within the property.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the British Red Cross Fire and Emergency Support Service (FESS) .

Fire involving a rear bedroom within a domestic residential house. 2 hose reel jets, 4 breathing apparatus and Positive Pressure Ventilation fan in use.
