At 02:38 on Saturday, 12 August, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Persons Reported Fire in Telford.
5 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. Operations, Hazmat, Fire Investigation and Safety officers were in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- 9/10.5m ladder
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Hosereel jet
Also at the scene of the incident were: the British Red Cross Fire and Emergency Support Service (FESS) , the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.
Fire involving domestic property, all persons accounted for. 4 properties affected, 3 x 9 M ladders, 6 breathing apparatus, 2 x 45mm jets. All services have been isolated. No casualties.

A Jack Russell cross dog called Freddie was stuck down a rabbit hole, firefighters used a 9m ladder and general purpose line to gain access to the steep embankment where they then used shovels and picks to enlarge the hole to allow access to release Freddie and return him safe and well to his owners
