Fire involving one saloon car which was out on arrival. Crews using a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots. No further action required.

4 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Newport, Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Reports of fire on the Wrekin. Crews investigating supported by two Incident Support Units from Tweedale and Newport. Thorough search carried out, nothing found.

This incident was 1 caravan fully involved in fire, crews used 2 hosereel jets, small gear and the thermal imaging camera was also in use.

• Thermal imaging camera

Reports of smell of smoke. This was found to be a false alarm caused by the residual smell from other incident. Thermal imaging camera used to check for hot spots with nothing found.

Dust extraction unit alight within building. Crews used one extended hose reel jet, four breathing apparatus and covering jet to extinguish.

Small fire in car involving wiring loom in engine compartment and cab of skip lorry. This fire was out on arrival of crews, but used a hose reel jet to damp down hot spots and checked temperatures using a thermal imaging camera.
