At 20:57 on Saturday, 11 April, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Buckets of water
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving solid fuel stove in ground floor lounge of 2 storey detached property. Fire extinguished using small tools and buckets of water. Fire service personnel administered oxygen therapy to 4 persons suffering from smoke inhalation and have been attended to by ambulance personnel at the scene.. Full check of property carried out using thermal imaging camera.
