Fire in flue of chimney. Natural ventilation used in smoke logged property. Crews used chimney rods, stirrup pump and thermal imagine camera. Property has been fully ventilated and temperatures checked.

This incident was a power surge causing loss of power to several houses. Fire crews used thermal imaging camera in all affected properties. Scottish Power attending to deal with incident.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency and the Police.
1 pick up truck fully involved in fire which crews have extinguished using 2 hosereel jet. Hotspots have been monitored using thermal imaging camera and cooled with hosereel jet. Road closure in place due to fuel spillage across the road.
