At 09:33 on Monday, 22 September, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire in Ludlow.
2 fire appliances were mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer and Ludlow. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Hosereel jet
- Thermal imaging camera
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.
One lorry fully involved in fire. Crews extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus, 2 hosereel jets and 1 thermal imaging camera.

At 17:24 on Sunday, 21 September, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Oswestry.
5 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform and the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Baschurch, Ellesmere, Oswestry, Shrewsbury and Telford Central. Operations, Safety and Principal officers were in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- 9/10.5m ladder
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Hosereel jet
- Positive Pressure Ventilation
- Thermal imaging camera
Incident involving fire within school building. Crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and wore breathing apparatus. Positive Pressure Ventilation fans have also been used to clear smoke and thermal imaging camera used to check for hot spots. Crews continuing to dampen down the area.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.
RTC involving one vehicle which came to rest on its side. Vehicle has been made safe by crews using small gear and checked the surrounding area using a thermal imaging camera. All casualties have been assessed by ambulance crews and the incident has been left with police and highways.
