3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Church Stretton, Cleobury Mortimer and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Shovels/Forks/Brooms
• Small gear

Approximately 10 acres of stubble and quantity of hay bales on fire

This incident involved a spark from a stack pylon which ignited approximately 20m x 50m of stubble and a bale. Fire service personnel used 2 hosereel jets and drag hooks to extinguish the fire.
