3 fire appliances including the Pinzgauer were mobilised from Church Stretton, Cleobury Mortimer and Craven Arms.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Hosereel jet
• Knapsacks

Approximately three hectares of gorse alight, crews used one hose reel jet, knapsack sprayer and beaters to extinguish

Fire involving approximately 5 x 5 metres of grass involved in fire caused by sparks from nearby electrical transformer. The transformer has been isolated and left in the care of the utility company. Fire crews used a knapsack to extinguish the grass fire
