At 12:40 on Wednesday, 27 May, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Gobowen.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Automatic fire alarm sounding. This was false alarm good intent. Manual call point was operated due to smell of burning caused by external fumes entering building through ducting.
