3 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet, Prees and Wem. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Small gear

Fire on 1st floor of domestic terraced property. 1 dog rescued by Fire Service personnel.

Call to report of a house on fire. Incident was found to be a fire involving a wheelie bin and a conifer hedge approximately 10m x 2m. The fire had been caused by hot ashes being put into wheelie bin.

At 14:23 on Thursday, 26 December, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Broxtons Wood, Westbury .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley and Shrewsbury.

Report of smoke issuing from kitchen of domestic property. On arrival the incident was found to be a small fire in the kitchen which was extinguished by fire crew using 1 hose reel jet and 2 breathing apparatus. Thermal imaging camera was used to check for any remaining hot spots. Oxygen therapy was administered to one dog found suffering the effects of smoke at the property.
