1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Fire involving approximately 80 square metres of grass and undergrowth. 2 hose reel jets used to extinguish fire.

At 12:48 on Sunday, 15 July, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Grass Fire in Green Lane, Hodnet .

4 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet, Market Drayton and Wellington.

Two large fires in the open. The fires are both involving large areas of grass and hedgerow. Hose reel jets and beaters are in use to extinguish the fires. Firefighters are receiving assistance from farmer who is using an agricultural machine to subsoil the land to place a fire break in the field.
