5 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Telford Central, Telford Training and Wellington. Operations, Hazmat and Safety officers were in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Covering jet
- Hosereel jet
- Positive Pressure Ventilation
Fire involving roof space of domestic residential terraced property.

At 09:06 on Thursday, 4 December, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Roof Fire in Sutton, Stanton Lacy near Ludlow.
6 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform, the Heavy Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Church Stretton, Clun, Craven Arms, Ludlow, Much Wenlock and Shrewsbury.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Hosereel jet
- Main jet
Two storey domestic stone build dwelling of traditional construction fully involved in fire. 2 hose reel jets, 2 main jets, Aerial Ladder Platform and 3 breathing apparatus in use.

Fire involving log burner, smoke issuing from roof, Hot spot found in roof timbers cutting away and removing tiles. Aerial Ladder Platform in use
