At 14:38 on Wednesday, 29 June, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Wellington.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Dry powder extinguisher
• Hosereel jet

This incident involved 1 deep fat fryer in 1 unit of the market hall. Fire was out on arrival of crews but crews used 1 hose reel jet, 1 covering jet and dry powder to dampen down. 2 breathing apparatus were also used.
