At 11:06 on Thursday, 7 November, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Wem Industrial Estate, Wem.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Wem.

Fire involving one tyre machine and approx 18 HGV tyres in building on Industrial Estate. 2 breathing apparatus , 1 hose reel jet and 1 covering jet used to extinguish fire.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

This incident involved a fire on the kitchen hob. Crews used one hose reel jet, one covering jet and two breathing apparatus to extinguish fire.

At 21:28 on Sunday, 20 October, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire.

3 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Oswestry and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• 9/10.5m ladder
• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Ground monitor
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the British Red Cross Fire and Emergency Support Service (FESS) , the Police and a utility company.

Fire involving a log store which is 100% involved in fire. Fire has spread to domestic property, including the roof. Assistance from North Wales Fire Service.
