At 18:15 on Thursday, 2 September, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Heritage Way, Llanymynech .
2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry.
Call to fire in woodland which was found to be a railway carriage approximately 10 metres by 5 metres, fully involved in fire and the fire had spread to surrounding hedgerow and trees. Fire was extinguished by crews using 1 hose reel jet.
